The editorial team responds to all substantive enquiries. Whether you are submitting a pitch, asking a reader question, or writing on a press or commercial matter, you will find the relevant routes below.
The editorial office is closed on UK public holidays. Messages received outside of office hours are attended to on the next working morning.
Tarleno Dispatch publishes long-form observational pieces — not listicles, recipe walkthroughs, or supplement reviews. A strong pitch arrives with a specific editorial lens: a pattern noticed over time, a piece of published research read carefully, a seasonal observation that holds longer implications. We are interested in the understated and the gradual rather than the dramatic or the prescriptive.
We consider pitches from writers with a demonstrable background in nutrition, food writing, or wellness practice. A background in nutritional science or a long-standing personal practice of food journalling both constitute appropriate credentials for our editorial context. Please include a brief biography and at least one published writing sample or relevant link with your pitch.
Tarleno Dispatch does not publish content that endorses, reviews, or affiliation-markets any specific weight-loss programme, supplement, or commercial food product. Articles observe and record; they do not prescribe. Pitches that are oriented toward commercial endorsement, affiliate revenue, or product placement will not be considered regardless of their editorial quality on other measures.
The editorial team responds to all pitches within ten working days. If you have not received a response within this timeframe, please write again to [email protected] with your original pitch subject line.
